i have to agree does give us that valuable time to train and lower weapons if it is needed and also gives myself time to get some of the uniform that i dont own.

UPDATE

IAN SOMMERS WAS ON THE PHONE YESTERDAY SAYING THAT HE WAS VERY SORRY THAT THE EVENT WAS CANCELLED.HOWEVER,I'M WAITING ON A PHONE CALL TOMMORROW TO LET ME KNOW WHEN THE NEW DATE IS.AS SOON AS I KNOW,YOU WILL KNOW.

AS FOR TRAINING,WE HAVE DONE WELL AS IT TURNS OUT. THAT THE REGEINS WILL BE CHANGING AS THE COMPETITION ADVANCES.
I'M WAITING ON CONVERMATION FOR HEXI BURNERS AND BB'S,SO AGAIN I'LL LET YOU KNOW AS SOON AS I DO.

pathfinder, all my guns shoot between 350 and 360 fps, site limits as i recall, i'm not worried, but as we're goin to a country that is giving no 10% either way i / we have to get something sorted....

.... which i have .... new toy on the way at a 328 fps....

what gun were you going to take anyway pathfinder, i'd say its hard to find any of your guns under 400 fps.... you'll have to swap out those gold and red systema pistons...

Oh my God I'm shock at you insinuating that I have Hot weapons. But the three I'm going down with all shoot uder the 328fps and that includes my PTW, So we should not give the Airsoft police something to post on there forum affraid

from what i've read on the mainland forum's, red soldier and zero in mainly, 350 fps for full auto, and 400 for semi and 500 for full bolt actions.

better than this stupid 328 fps piss flat rate for everyone.

i have to agree with you boris it makes it more realistic to when weapons are ranked into these three fps ratings. we need a volunteer for a fps test when it embeds we know it is too high an fps geek

The TAKE AIM CUP is a knockout tournament for airsoft teams. It will take place at the MOYVALLEY ADVENTURE ZONE on the 28th and 29th of November 2009. And will be held in conjunction with the IAA (Irish Airsoft Association). Yes, that’s two full days of extreme airsoft action at Ireland’s newest airsoft site.
The tournament was due to take place back in August but ran into unforeseen problems, so we had to rearrange it to the end of November. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to those who had already signed up. We promise that this event will be the biggest weekend of airsoft ever seen in this country. We urge you all to take part. There will be BB’s on sale at the site as well as full shop facilities.
What’s needed to enter? Teams are to consist of a maximum of ten players, with one substitute. (teams can also enter with less than ten players but the full fee still applies) Each team must pay a fee of 400 EURO. Many teams have paid deposits and these deposits remain valid.
Games will begin on the Saturday 28th of November at 9.00 am. They will conclude on Sunday evening after which a presentation ceremony will take place. The site will be open to players from Friday evening. Anyone wishing to camp for the weekend are welcome. The site is on the grounds of The Moyvalley Hotel and special rates at this luxurious hotel are available for all airsofters. There are also apartments on site that players can rent for the weekend at very reasonable rates. There will be a bar at the hotel each night for the participating players, ID will be required and players are encouraged to act responsibly. Anyone wishing to take accommodation at the Moyvalley hotel should email info@maz.ie
The tournament will take place at numerous different style gaming zones. A full urban setting, the likes of which has not been seen in Ireland before. A forest zone which is dense natural cover with added bunkers. And a number of zones which are set in the most challenging terrain you will ever come across. We are hoping to structure the tournament in such a way that each team will get to play each zone throughout the weekend. Each zone presents its own unique challenges and will put the teams to the ultimate test.

1. The winning team will receive the prestigious TAKE AIM CUP, a gold medal for each player and prizes.
2. The second place team will receive silver medals and a plaque.
3. The third place team will receive bronze medals and a plaque.
4. There will also be a raffle with some great airsoft goodies up for grabs.
5. There will also be twenty medals of honour awarded to individuals who show outstanding bravery in the field.
