| Right folks, after trying to get to the site earlier today I have decided not to come round as more snow is expected overnight, and if it is not snow it will be cold anyway, so the snow beneath will be frozen over, that hill is a bloody nightmare earlier today.

| Well batteries were charged and gear got ready and I'm now (09.30) sitting here at the pc in my boots & combats good to go but there have been another couple of inches of snow here overnight followed by a deep frost and cars are parked - abandoned might be a better word - both sides of the street down to the main road and I'm not chancing a game of jeep pinball even before I get to Islandmagee, just not a sensible move I'm afraid so I'll have to give this one a miss too ): Presume this will be rescheduled to a day when more people can safely get there. | |
