Sounds Amazing , would love to take part in this but around what times will it be on from? because as im only 14 i dont have my own transport so my mum has to get up and run me to foxtrot each day.

right folks I got word that my GMDSS course has been shifted to my October Break which means I am in College with a select few that are unlucky enough to miss out on their Hallowe'en break.
Anyways, the up shot of this is that I am now able to go on Active Deployment

just had it reconfirmed I have the time booked off now for this shoot

I feel an endurance test coming along, I will see you all there, good opportunity to cam cream up and get the MK6 back out, This certainly promises to be a good night and day.

the wanker of a boss i have has put me working saturday till 8pm and working sunday 12pm but i will be making my way straight from work that saturday and not turning up for work the sunday as he was given 3 weeks notice i needed this weekend off so the fat bastard can work it himself HA HA HA HA o and HA

barnsy the water bottle i assume is a 2ltr bottle of drinking water i wouldnt see why same would need you to bring a hot water bottle lol.

and as for the bergen just bring a rucksack or your school bag.

ive been gathering up lots of bits and peices i might need lol

The poncho is NOT to wear, it's to make a basha (shelter), usually with the help of some sticks, string and maybe tent pegs. Wet or dry, waterproofs won't be worn at night as they make a swish-swish sound when you move and guess what happens to people who move about in the dark making a lot of noise, when there enemies with guns about.

Anyone who brings a HOT water bottle will definitely get shot - by their own side as a complete muppet, once they have finished laughing at him. If bringing an army DRINKING water bottle, make sure it is full, if not it makes a sloshing sound when you move about in the dark - see above, for a description of how that works out.

The old sweats will have all the gear and will show you how to use it.

Eventually you may want to invest in a set of 58 Pattern webbing, with the large pack and all the pouches fitted it has all you will ever need, including a "bum roll" where your poncho goes, ammo pouches, water bottle/cup & pouch, kidney pouches for eating & washing kit, and a yoke to spread the load. This is what you will see the old hands with on saturday, albeit some will have bergens instead of the large pack. The bergen is mainly for the sleeping bag and usually a kip mat, the 58 Webbing without pack or bergen can hold all you will need for at least 24 hours in the field.

Meant a drinking water bottle NOT hot lol I have a camo bag I can use but no sleeping bag or poncho but I will be there

for anyone that does not have a 58 webbing set but has the belt, I can lend them mine but they need to bring their own 58 belt, having the webbing set will help you in your load bearing ability and should you get bumped and have to drop your backpack it is handy to have the webbing set as a primary means of carrying your main ammo set, water, rations (if needed) and survival set (if needed) also helps to have a torch in case of emergency.
