At 1.30pm today Michael Wray (Big Michael / Gadgetman) passed away. He had been fighting a bad chest infection for the past week. Unfortunately paramedics were unable to do anything for him, although they tried their best, but it was not to be.
Michael was one of those guys who loved life and loved his guns as we all know. Now that he is gone he will be sorely missed. For those of you who did not know him you have most certainly missed out. He was a man who loved airsoft and enjoyed the company of fellow airsofters, he was not one to brag or boast. He just wanted to share his life experiences with us all and just loved to talk about airsoft and guns.
I hope that you will all join me in remembering Big Michael and send condolences to his family.
Michael leaves behind Wendy and a close family network and a lot of very good friends.
Michael we miss you, but we will see you again one day soon.

| I met Michael for the 1st time almost exactly 1 year ago at F58, a real nice bloke, always happy to talk airsoft with newcomers and let you try out his guns. He mentioned the chest infection when I was talking to him on Wednesday past but I didn't think for a second that it would be the last time I saw him. Very, very sad news, my condolences to his family.

| Can't believe the big fella is gone! He'd had some ill health to be sure, but Big Michael just seemed to be indestructible. His memory and his spirit will be, that's for sure. You couldn't fail to warm to his irrepressible sense of humour and his innate good-heartedness. Foxtrot 58 in particular and the world in general will be the poorer for his passing. Michael will be sadly missed.

| A friend to all he came in contact with with an unforgetable and magnetic personality that made all warm to him. No kinder a heart could be found nor a more willing person could we meet. A truely selfless man! This is how he will be remembered among those of us lucky enough to be counted as his friends. Rest In Peace big fella! | |

| I didn't know Michael as well as most at FT58, but I did manage to get to know him abit before his untimely passing. It is easy for me to say he was a great guy, but to be honest in this case he really was. He was friendly and welcoming and you don't get many like that these days. He will be missed. My sympathy goes out to his family. DC | |

| I feel truly privileged to have known Michael, my thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
The soldier stood and faced God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shining, Just as brightly as his brass. "Step forward now, you soldier, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek? To My Church have you been true?" The soldier squared his shoulders and said, "No, Lord, I guess I ain't. Because those of us who carry guns, Can't always be a saint. I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was tough. And sometimes I've been violent, Because the world is awfully rough. But, I never took a penny, That wasn't mine to keep... Though I worked a lot of overtime, When the bills got just too steep. And I never passed a cry for help, Though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God, forgive me, I've wept unmanly tears. I know I don't deserve a place, Among the people here. They never wanted me around, Except to calm their fears. If you've a place for me here, Lord, It needn't be so grand. I never expected or had too much, But if you don't, I'll understand." There was a silence all around the throne, Where the saints had often trod. As the soldier waited quietly, For the judgment of his God. "Step forward now, you soldier, You've borne your burdens well. Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets, You've done your time in Hell." ~Author Unknown~ | |

| I am so sorry to hear of Michaels passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him at the take aim cup and to say he was a gentleman is an understatement. He was an example of what an airsofter should be, dedicated, courteous and supportive. He will be greatly missed. My sympathies to his wife and to the foxtrot58 team.

| What can I say about michael, he was easily one of the friendliest guys I have had the pleasure to meet, he was also one of the most dedicated airsofters I will ever meet. He was always full of life and was always willing to talk about his guns.
My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
Til we meet again mate,
