Yes a good effort from all concerned, it was a close run thing where a single mistake or a moment's hesitation or confusion could mean all the difference between the teams. Hats off to worthy winners 1 Platoon, especially for the first game where they hit the field like a hurricane in a bad mood. A great team effort; Ross in particular played a blinder! Anyway well done all three teams and the worthy enemy team which gave them such a run for their money! And it was nice to see Wendy up presenting the medals. A worthy way of remembering Big Michael, who I'm sure was up there cheering them on and having a good laugh at the same time!

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY, WELL DONE TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART. AS IVOR SAID IT WAS A CLOSE RUN THING. TEAM WORK, CO-ORDINATION AND TIMING WERE THE MAIN THEME FOR THE DAYS GAMING. AS PROMISED WE CHALLENGED YOU ALL TO A VERY EXCITING EVENT. NOT JUST YOUR ORDINARY DAYS SHOOT BUT SOMETHING TO REMEMBER. IT WAS CHALLENGING AND AT TIMES HARD, BUT AS USUAL YOU ALL SHOWED THAT FOXTROT SPIRIT THAT LIES WITH IN.

I HOPE THAT IN FUTURE EVENTS YOU ALL SHOW THE SAME GRIT AND DETERMINATION TO GET THE JOB DONE.

WELDONE TO THE MEMBERS OF 1 PLATOON FOR WINNING THIS YEARS CUP AND TO ALL OTHER HOPEFULLS "THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR".

AGAIN WELL DONE TO ALL THAT TOOK PART AND A BIG FOXTROT 58 THANKS TO WENDY FOR PRESENTING THE MEDALS. IT JUST GIVES US ALL A SMALL REMINDER THAT THE BIG MAN MAY BE GONE BUT HE IS STILL WITH EVERYONE OF US.

I must say it was a good day had by all, pity the weather infiltrated the games a bit but all said it was good crack, hopefully we can get some more of those biological games in, that was certainly both physically and mentally demanding, trying to remember things when the head is starved of its usual oxygen supply.
In general a bloody good game and well played and deserved to the winners!
